Evelyn Ingosi

We are honored to partner with Evelyne Ingosi, an amazing woman who has given her life to providing a home for these beautiful children. Evelyne is passionate about loving, caring, and supporting unwanted children.

Evelyne’s passion grows out of her own story. As a young child, Evelyne’s parents died and she suffered greatly. She was a homeless street kid from the age of 10-15, living in culverts under the street and begging for food. Evelyne knows from personal experience what it feels like to be abandoned and traumatized. It is from this “personal knowing” that flows the biggest heart for vulnerable children we have ever encountered!

Evelyne has come to be known by others in Kenya as “Mama Love” and “Mother of Many”.

The word Upendo means “Love” and that is what she is offering these children!

Beyond Our Door Global is humbled and honored to partner with such an amazing woman!

Elizabeth Punyua

We are honored to partner with Elizabeth Punyua, a trained and licensed HIV/AIDS medical professional, who directs the Huduma HIV/AIDS Clinic in the Kawangware slum of Nairobi.

While Elizabeth is extremely skilled as a nurse, her care for the people she works with goes much deeper than just their physical health. Elizabeth also provides spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically help as needed.

Today over 300 HIV/AIDS clients are treated by Elizabeth. Her clinic has become a safe place for testing, crisis care, education, support, and encouragement. Elizabeth offers them hope!

But Elizabeth doesn’t just stay in the clinic. It is out in the slum itself that we have had the privilege of watching Elizabeth be the hands and heart of Jesus to so many.

Elizabeth visits people, cares for people, brings them food, medicine, and blankets. She prays with them and for them. She brings them whatever they need to survive or to ease their pain. Whatever they may need to die with dignity.

Beyond Our Door Global is humbled and honored to have Elizabeth Punyua as one of our partners.
